Questions
Will my customers see PaySorted?
Hardly at all. Invoices, the payment page, receipts and reminders show your logo, your colour and your business name, and emails come from your name with replies going to you. The only mention is a small "Sent with PaySorted" line at the bottom.
Does it work with my accounting software?
Yes, on every plan. PaySorted connects to Xero, QuickBooks, FreeAgent and Sage. Invoices, customers and payments copy across automatically, so your accountant sees everything without extra typing.
Will my customers think I'm being pushy?
No. The reminders are polite and written like a normal small business would write them, friendly first and firmer only when it's genuinely late. They come from your business name and you can change every word.
What if they've already paid by bank transfer?
Customers can tap "I've paid", which pauses reminders until you check your bank. Tap "Mark as paid" and chasing stops. With Xero, QuickBooks, FreeAgent or Sage we spot the payment automatically.
Do I need to be good with computers?
No. If you can use WhatsApp, you can use PaySorted. Set-up takes about two minutes, and free set-up help is there if you'd like a hand.
Is it an app?
It works in your phone's browser, and you can add it to your home screen so it opens like an app. No app store and nothing to update.
Who holds the money when a customer pays by card?
You do. Card payments go through Stripe straight to your own bank account. PaySorted never holds your money or sees card details.
What happens after the free trial?
Pick a plan and carry on. If you don't, your account becomes read-only and chasing stops. Nothing is deleted for 90 days.
Does my accountant need to pay, or be on a higher plan?
No. Your accountant gets free, read-only access on every plan, including Starter, and doesn't use up one of your logins. If they work at a firm, the people there who look after you can see your records too. You can remove their access any time.
What counts as a login?
A login is for you or someone who works for you, like an office manager or a team member on site. Starter and Pro include 1 login. Business includes 3, and you can add more for £8 a month each. You choose what each person can see: field staff only see their jobs, not your prices or invoices.
