Ask a client for access

Enter the email your client uses for PaySorted. They get a single Accept button by email and in their app — nothing else to do. If they don't use PaySorted yet, we'll send them an introduction from you, and your request will be waiting when they join.

Invite lots of clients at once

Paste a list of client emails, or choose a spreadsheet (CSV) with an email column. Each client gets your request, or an introduction to PaySorted from you if they're not using it yet. Up to 200 at a time.

What you can and can't see

• Can see Your clients' invoices, quotes, payments, expenses and receipts, their chasing, their MTD quarter figures and their activity history.
• Can do Download reports and period-end packs, and ask clients for missing records.
• Can't Send invoices or reminders, change prices, take payments, or see bank card details. Access is read-only.
• Client in control Each client chooses to let you in by tapping Accept, and can remove your access at any time from More → Your accountant.

Monthly summary email

On the 1st of each month: what your clients are owed, who has overdue invoices, records still waiting and any accounts software that needs reconnecting. One email, with a link back here.

Clients can also invite you themselves from More → Your accountant in their PaySorted app.

Your link for clients

One link does everything. Give it to any client who isn't on PaySorted yet. When they sign up through it, they see “Recommended by your practice”, one tick gives you read-only access (no request to send, nothing to accept).

Your practice

Your name and logo appear in your clients' PaySorted as “Recommended by your accountant”.

Two-step login (optional)

Extra security if you'd like it: as well as your password, you type a 6-digit code from an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator or similar) when you log in. It's off unless you switch it on.
